Even and odd functions are very similar, they both have degrees but it's just a determination if the degree is even or odd. To figure out if the equation is even or odd you have to do two things. One is determine if the highest degree is even or odd. Once you determine that you will need to plug a random number into the equations using this if it's odd use f(-x) = -f(x) if it is even use f(-x)= f(x). If the equation is even, both of the answers will be the same. If it's odd one will the positive form of that number and the other will be the negative form. I don't believe that there are any certain equations that can be forever even or odd. I believe this because you can change the degrees on any equation. I don't understand why if the degree is odd but you solve it by plugging in numbers and it doesnt't work out, why is that?
